Villas, quintas, real estate, imobiliário / inmobiliaria; Rio Minho / Miño

We are happy to provide some information and links to real estate / estate agent sites in Northern Portugal & Galicia Spain with quality houses / homes, villas, quintas and other properties for sale. In Portugal real estate is called "imobiliário", in Spain "inmobiliaria"; actually finding villas and quintas for sale on the Internet is difficult though. We ourselves are not selling our villa / quinta through realtors only because the local imobiliários and inmobiliarias tend to have Portuguese / Spanish only sites catering to local people, plus they do not appear very well for searches with Google and Yahoo; so we decided it was best to sell our property privately and build our own web site for it.

However, we understand our own real estate on the Rio Minho / Miño may not be for everyone, but are happy to help others find their own slice of Iberian paradise as we think so much of the area. You will see there are very few luxury villas / quintas available, especially with the river location and location / proximity to key resources of ours, and that some areas of Galicia are very expensive indeed. If you are looking for bargain properties close to a market town, the area around Ponte de Lima or Vila Nova de Cerveira may be a good option. The further away from major towns and the border you get, the lower the price of property becomes of course.
